I was wondering if there is anywhere in the Uk where i would be able to get hold of a solarwinds countess karstein laying on the coffin as i think it is an amazing kit and would love to have a go at building it as far as i know there isn't a regular importer of those kits However, i plan to start dealing with solarinds at some point ( i run www.scottishfigurekits.com at the moment most of my funds for setting up the figure selling went to Pegaso and i'm trying to build up the funds again so i can then stock up with Solarwinds kits. The main problems are that they will be coming from outside europe ( you don't have to worry about tax and customs duties so much when you buy from inside the EU) in order for the solarwinds kits to make a reasonable profit i would need to order a large amount and to do that i would need to know there was a good market for them...which i think there is judging by their popularity. if you are not in a hurry and can wait for a while then let me know...if you are in a hurry then ebay or a credit card and email solarwinds might be your only option. for the record i am working on that very kit and have almost finished it... i need to work on her cloak as i have made a replacement coffin for her. good luck. Thanks for the info. Unfortunatly dont have a credit card but i though with being a student at university it was probably best not getting one. Ive always been intrested in her and ive wanted a kit of her ever since i saw it at the Ipms nationals in telford about three years ago. Just checked out the rest of solarwinds range and all the figures look amazing. I have been reading posts about the solarwinds kits and they appear to be really good. Really want to have a crack at building one but im not in a desperate hurry. I have found the kit im after on frontier models but it didnt say if it was a solarwinds kit or not. Could it be a re-cast? Id rather pay for an original solarwinds one as im sure the quality would be a great deal better.

I bought a Sophie kit (Pegaso 200mm) from F, and as you said it didn't actually say "Pegaso" on the webpage and it was a recast, a poor copy at that. I posted here about it on the forum somewhere a while back and sent an apology to Luca at Pegaso.
If it's cheap it is deffo a recast, if not who knows?
Good luck in your search, if I turn anything up anywhere I'll PM you.
Keith
