well folks, the summer has finally arrived here in Scotland ( yes we do actually get too see the sun once a year :-) ) and since this has happened things slow down as well all make the most of it and that includes this site, afterall alot of people see modelling as an in-door hobby and so when the fine weather arrives everyone likes too head out for some fresh air and other attractions. of course there is the football and big brother, neither of which i'm interested in so i still plod away with my kits....i can't afford another holiday so i'm admiring the large collection of weeds in the back garden ;D so where does this leave this rambling thread... well i know things have slowed some but hell, you gotta make the most of the good weather and the internet and modelling will always be there, so go out have some fun, drink some beer and enjoy the world, this site will be here... so have FUN

Know what you mean, as for footy I can't help but watch it, the sun has drawn me out into the garden and beyond and worse than that I have been building AFVs and the big Revell Uboat kit cos I cannot afford to buy Solarwinds Vampirella that I've set my heart upon. Boo hoo!!! no I should mean and make the most of the sunshine while it lasts

Well, I dont watch the Football either, as I dont have TV (I do have a home cinema for DVD's though). I'm also not a lover of hot days, I have quite sensitive eyes, so usually stay indoors. I did get really burnt on Saturday going round the Gower on a speedboat (it was a pirate tour we took the kids on), and even though it was overcast I really went red. So I'm still modelling. I have almost finished Campers brilliant Indy bust and after that I'm going to repaint the excellent Alien head DVD boxset I bought in the HMV sale.
My time has been taken up with Alias though, I bought the boxset of Amazon and it's quite addictive. I kept thinking the crouching Aeon Flux kit I've seen recently could make a good conversion to Sydney Bristow! ;D

I don't know about your neck of the woods, but over here the best part of summertime is the women and the warm weather dress code as I call it. Seems like the younger ones have lost all modesty. Hate it when that happens. LOL.
