hi folks,

well i got a nice surprise when i got home from my dayshift today, the first of two parcels arrived and this one is a 1/48th scale version of the new Cylon Raider from the guys at Fantastic Plastic.

i hope to crack this one open soon but i have 3 other kits in progress at the moment so i'll need to wait!

Cool, Ive been planning on getting the kits from this show one day. I love the new series ..cant wait for the new season.....

Both the show and this kit are way cool. My question still remains, which came first, the design of this ship or Sigorney Weaver's Alien? Notice the resemblance?

Hi Dave,

well if you look at the head you will see a certain similarity too teh old cylon head of the 70's tv show but yes i see what you mean about the general feel of the cylon ship.... my money is on "Gigars" work as he designed the original alien for the film... he is knw for some of his bizarre art creations...i'm not a fan of modern art so i'll leave you too judge.
