oh yeah, jj models are fantastic. they are right up there with solarwind kits in quality and detail. be careful of them on ebay, I know there are recasts of some jj kits out there. if it doesnt have a nice JJ decor box and all the paperwork and certificate, dont buy it.

Great kits! Price is dependent on the Euro. Also, these are available through VLS.

i've built one of the older kits and i found the casting to be good but the facial detail was rather lacking, very soft with few defining areas of detail. It was the genuine article and not a recast, personally i think solarwind figures are better quality but then i only have a limited experinece with JJ models

I bought the Jennifer kit (the one sitting on the barrel), and the sculpt of the body is incredible, but the face looks like an after thought. Real shame. I wish somebody made 1/8 female replacement heads, cause I'd lop hers off in a heartbeat. Tony

I’ve built 2 kits from JJ Models and I thought that they were very nice (with some minor concerns listed below); I would probably buy another kit from them again.
I bought my kits from anotherworlddesign about 3 years ago. Sadly I think that they went out of business. I noticed that VLS carries them now but it seems that the prices are nearly 2x what I paid a few years ago.
I built the Sophie kit and my only complaints were that the details were a little soft and there was a big air bubble in the left arm from the elbow up to the shoulder. About 80% of the left arm was missing.
I see that you have already bought a kit from Solar Wind. I haven’t bought a kit from them yet but I’ve seen several kits close up at shows and their casting and sculpting seems to be excellent. I am looking forward to buying a kit from them in the near future.
Cheers

Ive got one, can't for the life of me remember her name. She's lying on a cushion with her heels in the air.
Anyway I have to agree with the other comments about soft details etc, also a lot of stuff like straps etc are moulded on (sometimes in unnatural positions) which spoils them a little (I'm a detail man) and some of the joins are a bit iffy.
Still not bad kits though and with a little work come up fine.

JJ Models kits are very nice kits. I also think their facial details sometimes are soft. I have not been able to find the time to build the ones I have.
I got one of mine from Another World. They did fold a few years back. Also since then the exchange rate has flipped to the Europeans advantage not the US advantage like it was around 2000.
