Hi, posted more pics in kits in progress forum, anyway, man nothing is smooth in this kit. even the eye balls are not smooth, I tried sanding, the resin is almost impossible to sand, like I said before this is not a recast, why does the resin sand nicely on my trex and wolfman kit? I guess a casting is an art in its self, I know nothing about resin, all I can see a bad casting can make a great sculpt look like crap, I will soldier on, never would buy this kit in person, lol, are the solarwind kits have smooth eyeballs and skin? tust me mate the solarwinds kit are probably the best out there, the eyes are actually engraved on and yes they are smooth along with the rest of the skin. If i had a spare i'd give you it but alas i don't...sorry.

Buzz,
Different casters use different grades of resin. Some are very soft, almost too soft, while others are extremely hard. The hard ones are great if it is a good casting, no holes, etc. Small files and then emory paper is the way to cut it. As for holes, fill 'em.
