Hey gang, I'm planning on using Citadel matte varnish in betwixt my paints (paint skin, varnish, paint eyes lips ect.) Does anyone know if this will allow me to "clean up" any mistakes without damaging the underlying paint job? This is all new to me so any help is really appreciated

yes it should, citadels are acrylics, if you have the varnish on there, just use a cotton swab dipped in Windex w/amonia. Itll clean the spot right off.

Thanks Figurator ;D But please bear with my ignorance I'm painting the colours with acrylics (com art/medea), then varnishing with acrylic ( citadel matte varnish) then painting again with medea. So if I mess up, I can clean up with the windex ammonia mix? Sorry if I seem a bit dense ;D

yeah, thats what I use for thinner and cleaner works awesome! but it has to be the good Windex with ammonia...I tried the cheap stuff from the dollar store, doent work as good. but the big bottle of windex is a hell of alot cheaper than paying $4-5 for a small bottle of "acrylic thinner"
