I'm looking for suggestions please to help me find a 1/4 female figure for a project. The criteria is this: Standing, with bare legs or tights that could be made to look bare. The actual moulding I would like the legs seperated from the body and also from the shoes (though not essential if I can make a clean cut). So, has anyone any ideas of the cuff? (I've done a Vampirella so have discounted that one) If you have pics too that would be excellent. Anyway, any ideas would be well appreciated.

well i was thinking along those lines regarding Vampirella but you've already covered that. what about some of the solarwinds figures... i'm not sure if the scale would be right though??? Dalena Ranger Liza

i hate to admit it but i think the recast market might be your best option....( suddenly i have a very nasty taste in my mouth).
the seller that drhall mentioned im49 might have something you are interested in or you could try a UK based ebay trader who deals in recasts...goes by the name asheblack or you could look for another UK based trader on ebay called resinpirate ( now i remember a while ago that someone on the clubhouse forum told me that this guy didn't deal with recasts...well i guess he has changed since then as i have an email from him about a kit i was interested that states it is a recast.....ho hum...such is life.
good luck in your search

As much as I hate to say it, I agree with PM; re-casts are the way to go here. I can't see taking a potentially low density original model and bashing it though it is done all the time. Oh well.
