Beautiful work Batleman. Your technique is very good. I like the election of colors. Would you matter to say me what colors have you used?( for the skin, specially) And what kind of varnish have you used for the head of the "Mother"? I suppose you have painted her with airbrush....
Thanks: Pepa.

Wow! Looks almost like a plating job. Wonderful work.
FYI disglust is a word. I know because one of the members of Female Figure Forum used it in a post. LOL.

Thanks all, for the kind words. This was produced in resin in 1/9 scale in the 90s by Jaguar. Susumi Sugitas sculpted this fierce female called "Mother." Its a very creative take on the classic Giger alien. With voulptous body and a face that only "a mother" could like. A great kit with attitude. The model is primed with flat black, then two or three variations on Tamiyas flat brown was misted on everything that prouts out. Then some drybrushing with a lighter brown/yellow on the skeletal bodyparts. When done, I mixed 50% of each Tamiya clear and Tamiya clear orange and covered the complete body with it to get a warm brown skin colour. (I like brown skincolour, he he) The dome is clearcoted three times, then using fine grained sandpaper (from 6000 to 12000) from a polishing kit, I worked my way down to a mirror finish and then polished it with carnuba wax to get that "super shine" The base consists of sculls and clear resin, to put it shortly.

Have to admire your dedication and patience. Polishing a flat surface to 12000 is a pain. Can't imagine working around all those nooks and crannies.

Very impressive. The painting and the 'gloss work' came out very, very well indeed!
