i saw that rancor figure on ebay about a monh ago and thought about buying it until i realised how much i had already spent on ebay that month.
You've certainly done it proud, i take it you used acrylics for the whole figure then?

Mainly enamels actually, I found that if you prime the Vinyl with something like "bumpercoat" primer from Halfords (UK) or any auto primer designed for plastics completely and dont break the seal anywhere by sanding etc that there is no reaction between the enamel and the vinyl. The only vinyl I encountered a problem like this was the Judge Anderson figure which came out a bit sticky! a coat of acrylic primer sealed her ok! Another thing that helps I think is that I always fill Vinyl kits with coathanger frames and plaster to stop any warping and give them weight. Anyway thanks for introducing me to photobucket PM before I pulled out what little hair I have trying to post!

I relly like this one. Looks good. Is this where we start with "This little piggy went to market....." You are right on the mark with the priming though, it's got to be seamless to prevent that sticky's.
