Han Solo StormTrooper

Well here it is at last, my Han Solo Storm Trooper. Despite the numerous things that have gone wrong whilst i have been painting this kit, it is finally finished.

The main problems i had were, Humbrol's Maskol ripping up the the layer of paint i was trying too protect as well as the primer coat of acrylic car paint as well as the gloss white paint by tamiya which needed numerous coats before it actually looked like there was some paint on it !

Anyway judge for yourself, this is my first ever vynal kit and although it's a recast ( i bought it from someone on ebay who lived in Thailand) i'd still get another one but not a copy as i have noticed areas where the detail isn't to great!

Looks like Harrison to me. Vinyl is certainly different. Did you fill it for weight? If so what did you use? I normally fill them up with plain old plaster.

this was my first ever vynal figure and although i placed some lead air rigle pellets in the legs i think i should have added mre weight as he doesn't stand up too well unsupported.... i gues it's another step on the learning curve.

I do have another vynal figure and this one is of councillor Troy from Star Trek TNG one of these days i'll take her off the to build pile and actually start work on her. I have bought some expanding foam as well as more air rigle ammunition too give her balast and weight.
