wow this was there lastnight i'm sure of it... i'm gonna go over and have a look at the help desk and see if anyone can explain it, because i neer deleted it.
if any other admin staff have been using the site construction settings in the admin panel could they please let me know. from what i can see the whole section appears to be missing, so i have to ask if anyone else has been in there other than myself?
sorry for the problems folks, i'll get back to you with some info as soon as i get it

hi guys, no problem i have found out what/who the problem is and it's proboards themselves!
now despite the fact that this site has been running for almost 2 years, they have decided that the adult section is in breach of the TOS, despite the fact that it was password protected.
as i type this i am waiting on one of the head shed types to get back to me and hopefully i get this section returned...
if not, then it looks like i'll need to find us a new home/server.
sorry for the hassle folks but it's not my doing !

Can you believe that, I cant imagine what some resin shaped in the femal form would be against terms of service. I could see if it had to do with some pornographic materials but come on. This is just resin figure models........go figure

Can you believe that, I cant imagine what some resin shaped in the femal form would be against terms of service. I could see if it had to do with some pornographic materials but come on. This is just resin figure models........go figure i tried to reason that idea with them, but apparently naked dolls are ok but naked figures ( in a sexual pose) are breach of TOS... now my arguement was; if you're naked, practically any posture you have could be seen as a sexual pose. despite the fact that this site has been running with that section in it for 4 years or more, they decide to delete it now...which i find odd.... according to them it had only recently be reported !!! can't see the hang up myself over this, as i pointed out; it's model kits not images of actual naked people. i guess some people just can't overcome thier narrow mindedness.... ironic when you think we come into this world naked. it just means i need to look for a new forum host, one that doesn't have to many issues over nudity. i don't really want to go down the road of "adult forums" so if anyone knows of a good one let me know. i'm off work this weekend but i need to get the car ready for the annual vehicle inspection aka MOT and i am working next weekend. don't worry folks as soon as i get things sorted out i'll let you all know, in the mean time i apologise for the problems you might be experiencing.

Well, usually the "forbidden" things starts with showing labia or an erected phallus. Do not argument with naked is naturally or sex is a "usual" thing. Where did pornography start ? Depends on, whom you ask....
We look on our figurines as pieces of art ! Usually, if you declare something as art, nothing is forbidden anymore.
See deviantart.com, section photography, artistically nude: Real (not resin) people and on some pictures you can see everything !

It's usually someone that is not comfortable with themselves or over zealous womans rights and bible thumper types. At the store I work at some old woman complained about some magazine (although all the ones they sell are non nude) so they pulled if from the shelf, she didn't seem to have a problem with all the heavily sexually contented womans magazines, just that one mens mag with bikini's. well after a day of discussion, it would seem that they are not prepared to budge on the subject, and that all they seem to do there is constantly quote the TOS.
i did try to point out to them that if someone is really wanting to look at nake images of girls, then there are far easier ways of doing it than logging into a forum, gaining access to a password protected area.... simply open google and type "pictures" or "porn" would work a lot faster.... but alas my logical arguement fell on deaf ears
the attitude i got was that i should be grateful that Proboards didn't delete my forum totally, to which i replied that i would bee looking for another forum host, since the admin seem to be set on obeying orders....reminds me of another organisation that took that stance....
so i am now looking around for a new forum host, currently looking at phpBB as i have used them before but i'll need to check on the nudity rules.
anyway i'll keep you posted folks

you say it was reported? by a new user I assume. The editor from Model X told me he had a subscriber cancel his subscription because of my karnstein article...What! That was rediculous I thought..and so did he..agreeing that maybe that 1 article lost 1 customer, but might have gained 50 more.. some people are just too anal

Good luck-I wish to heck we knew who caused the issue...although I guess it doesnt matter anyways-the idea that small resin women-at most 8 inches tall- will somehow drive youth into a life of hedonistic corruption is about as retarded as you can get.
Photobucket did this too-removed certain pictures I painted/drew because of nudity. They state its helpful for portfolios-then do that. People are rediculous.
