This is the 1/6 resin version of Uma Thurmans character The Bride from Kill Bill. A very clean model, minimum work needed, and quite easy to paint too, thanks to score marks in the kit for the black stripes. I painted the body and head seperatley, and that was my only trouble, the hair would'nt sit right on the shoulders, so I very carefully used a heat gun on it until it slightly flopped over them. I added some tile grout to the base to give the snow a bit more of a fluffy look, not that you can see it in this photo, and the blood was supplied via a toothbrush and an old credit card.

wow sounds like a great kit to build and i always like those nice touches like painting guidelines when it comes to painting stripes, so i'm glad that worked out ok for you.
A couple of things i have picked up on, for someone who slaughterd about half the population of japan during that film, i see that her sword is remarkably clean compared too the rest of her...perhaps you might add some blood there but only a small amount?
i'm also guessing that you used quite a powerful light on this girl as her blonde hair seems a little less detailed than the rest of the kit.
Those are my only 2 quibles for the figure, otherwise i think she is amazing and you have turned out a excellent interpretation of Uma Thurman

Hi PM, I did keep the sword clean on purpose, probably because it took so long to apply the silver. Not too sure about how the hair looks....I'm in the graphics business and last week spent 2 days trying to calibrate my monitor to match a Sherpa proofing system, it definatley changed the way images looked on my screen. I'll have to have a look on the PC at home.

I Honstly think hair is the hardest part to get convincing, especially if its an unnatural colour. I always seem to end up with too much contrast between light and dark or not enough! Love the intense manic look in those eyes though I have to admit I've never watched the Kill Bill movies! K

Very nice rendition. Lots of blood in those films. Both are truely recreational bubble gum for the mind.
