Update: Well, I've been having some trouble with my light tent set-up. I just could'nt get this Batwoman bust photographed properley. There was just too much glare (still) and even some noise. So I scoured the net for help and got quite a bit at the EZ Cube site www.ezcube.com as well as help from the guys at The Clubhouse about lamp positioning. So, here's my fist pic: You can see it's pretty dreadful, and a real dissapointment when you spend so long working on a kit and then the photo turns out like this! So this is what I did. I took these photo's with simulated 100W energy saving bulbs in Anglepoise lamps (better to position) about 30-40 cm away from the light tent. I changed the backdrop (I think the black velvet was effecting the exposure) and used different camera settings: Aperture priority set to the smallest hole (F8.0) with a +1.3 exposure compensation. I also used the remote to take the picture and the shutter speed was about 6-7 secs! All this info was gleened from the net, did it work? Well here's the new pics: Result: I'm very pleased. I dont know what to think of this. I went for a dark skinned woman look rather than a younger white skinned Batgirl look. I thought she had a much more menacing and scary look, a much darker character, but whether it worked I'm not sure.

I think you got the dark memacing part down. The darker complexion seems to work in my opinion. I gotta' admit this Batwoman is a babe. Like to meet her on a dark cold night. ;D Dave Hall

Thanks for the comment, I just wish I'd got a good pic of her. I've been looking here: www.tabletopstudio.com/Loads of good info for desktop photography. I'll see if I can do better, need a few small bits first though. ;D
