Hmmm, a little tooooo quite here ! So, lets spent a look on my 4th. buildup - at least to fill the gap Shame on me: It is the last kit I've finished (more than 1 1/2 year ago). I should shoot my dog, divorce, quit my job and -most important- sell this damned house (always something MUST be done ..) 'nough of my crying - Here we go: Decided against the usual red/white paint scheme. Open fan is scratched out of paper. Pretty girl, isn't she ? YES ! Closer ? More closer ? Still not close enough ? I've softened her tapered (anime, you know) chin and her can-opener sharp nose I also deepened all undercuts (and hate me for that when painting ... ) and done recesses under the spinned drapery on her shoulders (what ends up in redoing the whole helix ) Playing with light (believe me, I only build her once: It is the same figurine): Sunset Morning has broken Romantic Sweet Actress Well mates, I'm empty ! Up to you now, to bring some live in here ;D Cheers Odin

you've done a magnificent job there mate, she looks so realistic unlike some of those figures that look too cartoonish for my liking....yes i knwo that's wehre they originated from but you've managed to give her a more human look.
exceelent work !

I agree - I am also not a fan of anime figures, but this one looks GREAT with the modifications you made to her chin and nose...helps one appreciate her other attributes better. Excellent!

me too, sadly I am not greatly into anime but incredible work odin, wonderful use of the light in your shots as well.
I pored over the pics for quite some time marvelling at your use of tones etc
Ace work
