you have a wonderful collection of solarwinds figures there, and although the karnstein on the throne is deemed "adult viewing" and i was unable to see it, i still i appreciated the other figures you have there...especially your take on the sorceress figure

Oops, forgot about that. You have to be a member of DA to see what they rate as "adult content." Try this link:

if you wrap the url link in image tags instead of url tags, you should be able to display the picture itself:

i love the break away from the usual dark clothing, the white must have been a devil to paint and keep free of any debris or dust that might taint the finish...nice one mate

they represent a high bench mark, not only in casting detail but also they are reasonably affordable compared to say, a John Wright original...and it's nice to see a vampire figure that isn't all gushin blood like so many of them out there...again that's just a persnal taste thing :-)

The base color for the white was FS Camoflage Gray, an almost off-white neutral gray from the USAF Vietnam era pattern (for those that don't follow military modeling). The shadows were blended in with ANA Neutral Gray and the highlights drybrushed with white.

youve got some wonderful work there. I really like the colors you used on the Karnstein. One thing I would suggest,if I may, is adding some depth to the eyes. The straight white makes them stand out.

thats what I use too. I first give it a light grey base, then highlight that with the pale flesh leaving only a small edge of grey around the eyeball. Once thats done I give them a slight wash of red, or pink. this should be done around the eyeball edges. not too heavy, or shell look bloodshot.

Hey, I just checked out your gallery on deviantart.com and it's fantastic! I especially liked your color schemes for Ranger and the Sorceress. And Tempest is awesome! Nice work!
Does anyone have a list of all the Solarwind kits that Mike Cusanelli has produced, in the history of the line? I've noticed a few (like Tempest) that are not in their current catalog.
