wow, it looks like an original and i thought that you could only get that as a recast on ebay!
very subtle skin tones, but these might have been effected by your light source figurator. The eyes are what really shines through here and in my opinion they make or break a good paint job. I also love the ground work, the small touch of leaf litter really adds the scene of a quiet, deserted graveyard.

Vampi is one of my favorites and you have done her justice ;D I totally agree with P.M. the eyes really draw you in!

Thanks guys. It is an original that I got in a trade with some of those kits I had. Your right about the skintones, they are subtle, I think Im going to go back with some pastels and darken some spots up a bit. I have to admit, I do have one of the recasts too.  I bought it a while back to try and replicate that job I saw on AFM I think, where shes sitting on a throne. Anyone remember who did that? Was it Fisher? Anyway. Her legs have been chopped up and cut into pieces and are still in my unfinished scrap drawer. :oI just couldnt bring myself to cut up an original. |

Hi Figurator: The Kitbash your talking about was done by Tom Gilliland, There's a nice pic. of it on the cover of Modelers Resource # 15 although I don't think there was an article about it. Someone did a spot on it but I can't remember who. But your Vampi looks great!........Tengu

Nice work Figurator. I specially like the eyes and hair. The groundwork is also very fitting for a girl like this. Some slight skin shadowing in strategic places would be the topping here, but its very nice as it is too.
Grade you, you say? from 1 to 10 (10 is best) I would say a good......eh.......No! I am in no position to grade your work. All I know is I like it very much. Keep up the good work.
