It's been a little while since I finished anything. Just recently finished this beauty. It is a female figure under the armor. Sculpt is by Eric Wons, 1/8th scale, resin. I wanted one from the moment I saw the in progress shots long ago. Added a few touches of my own: tie strings on the armor and hand painted banner (front and back). The banner comes with raised letters on the front side only. No picture. I was able to get banner reference pictures from Eric. The armor was drybrushed various shades gray mixed with silver. A little "Rub & Buff" was used for highlights. Jim

Extremely well painted. I like this kit a lot and might try and get one. Eric Won produces a few great kits.

Hi guys,
WOW JJCap1
seeing figures like that make me just wanna give up, there is no way on god's green earth i'll ever be that good. That is totally Appling amazing !!!!!!!
The work you put in on the armour must have made you go blind it's stunning and the colour and pose of the hair and face is excellent. The only thing that i think could do with a little help is the eyes, they could do with some sort of dark wash in the corners to help seperate the whites of the eyes from the facial skin tone ( but this detail might have been overwhelmed by the flas from the camera)
p.s. i took the liberty of altering your post to so that we could see all of the pictures, hope you don't mind

Thanks Phantom Major! You are too kind. As a matter of fact I have made a minor change to the eyes since that photo was taken. I shortened the eyebrows above the nose a bit and actually did darken the corner of the eyes with a watercolor wash. There was a shade of pink in there but, as you noted, it came across as white and made the corners appear wider than they were.

I like it. I believe the armour, looks wickedly real. Very nice detail work.
