This is a nice little version of Vampirella. Produced by Andrea Miniatures, it's 1/22 scale (80mm) or just under 4 inches tall. Made of white metal and comes with a nice base. It's size made it tough to get decent pictures. The colors appear a bit harsher than they actually are. Jim

very nice mate, what did you paint it with oils or acrylics and did you paint it by hand?

All acrylics. The skin tones were airbrushed and everything else was by hand. I also used pastels for some accent shading.

what make of acrylics did you use and what type of airbrush do you have? I need to get a new airbrush as mine isn't good enough for detailed work like this....it was good enough for doing military things but not high grade work like skin tones.

I use a Paasche VL airbrush. I actually don't know how to use it well. I don't do real detail work with it. The detail shading is added with pastels. I've actually thought about getting a different one. There have been several threads over at the Clubhouse Forum about airbrushes. Seems like every couple of months someone is going to by one and asks what variety people use. I use Polly S (Polly Scale) paints. Mainly the model railroad colors! I do a lot of color mixing.

She is one of my favorite subjects and you have done very well. Love the colors and the scene. It never ceases to amaze me how different kit producers can use the same subject/pose but some are worth building (like this one) and others should bet kept as antiques (Aurora). Just MHO.
