Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and thought I would post my latest completed figure. This is a 1/12 scale kit from Solarwinds. It is pretty much all airbrushed except for the eyes and shading on metal parts. Let me know what you think. I am thinking of entering it in an IPMS show next weekend. Thanks Steve

it's outstanding, i loe the red hair and the lines around the clothing that help seperate it from the flesh tones. The body armour on the legs has a nice sheen too it as well. The only thing i can pick up is that the outline around the necklace seems to be heavier than on the rest of the figure especially when you compare it too the outline around the bikini straps

I agree with the Major, a great figure and a great paint job. A good figure should have a good base,so I'm glad to see that you've got that right too. soundchaser.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I appreciate the input. @ Phantom Major, You are right about the lines around the necklace, thanks, sometimes you don't see those kind of things on your own stuff. Steve

I think you did an amazing job on this figure the flesh tones look very realistic, i also like the shield and the spear looks really good, I agree with Phantom Major, when i put shadows around these areas i use my darkest skin tone feathered in before my final skin tone with my airbrush ( I did my Vampirella this way), or a chalk pastel feathered out with a small soft brush, either way she looks great, i would like to see few more pictures of her one from the rear and one from the side. Well done.

Very nice. I'd like to see some more pictures too. Also, can you tell us the techinque or how you did the skin tones and the painting and additions on the base? Thanks!

Very nicely done. I like the colors of the armour, kinda' bronze but weathered or aged.
