Kind of a tough call. Looking at the pix below the figure, the set pic has a very yellow cast to it where the beach pic she is more pink.
Your figure looks to have a yellow base with orange shadows. Since I haven't attempted painting my figures yet I can't really give any advice on the matter.
BTW Thanks for the pic showing her holsters in color. Where did you find it? Do you have any more?

hey thanks for the replky. yup, you can see my dilemma.. not sure where to go with it.. I guess I should go with the movie photos like the one above. which by the way, I got that from Chuck..I figure.. he did his research when sculpting, so he must know... thats what he sent me.. I dont have anymore though, other than the ones Ive found by Googling..

Are you using pre-mixed paint's or mixing them yourself?
I have some studio shots from the bra auction if that would help on the coloring. It's the full outfit accept for the holsters. She does appear a bit on the orange side in those pix.
If you don't already have them, I can email them to you if you like.

I use both straight from the bottle and I mix a bit. I think I have that photo already, or 1 of them anyway.. its an autograph photo with her 3 other characters.

I found a good photo which Chuck made the figure from if you want it. I tried to upload it to make a link, but the files too big..its made for as a desktop background. If you want I can email it to you.

For what it's worth, I like the skin tone you've done so far just fine...bear in mind the character in the movie is dancing in a dimly-lit bar, where the light would be very different than the full sunlight in that shot of our girl Jessica out on the beach there...

Fully agree with Paul ! Color is under sovereignty of the kind of light, it is shown within. On top: Photography ..... Do a bad white balance on your camera - and anything else than the truth is shown on your picture.
My opinion about the color you've chosen: A bit to pale.
Cheers Odin

If you want I can email it to you. That would be great. My address is darkwave@juno.comThanks. I think the others are right. If your going for the look of the movie she is close but with more shadows. Maybe a bit more blending of the colors you have as well. All the onset pix are very Amber (yellow) in the bar where the green screen shots are a bit lighter. She seems to like laying about on the beach a lot from all the pix on the net, so a more tan paint scheme would work well for her. E...

sorry for my delay in response...gosh what a crazy week this has been at work.. ever do two weeks of work in one week? anyway... Im finally off today..so maybe I'll get some more painting done. I appreciate the comments. I have added some deeper shadows and maybe I'll give her a yellow filter..just a slight one.

No worries mate. I work all night and sleep most of the day so I tend to be to tired to do anything. doesn't help that I am working on cleaning up and assembling 8 figures at once. Seeing your build gives me more incentive. E...
