Almost there!! Terrified I bugger it up on the final hurdle. Once again I have to thank someone on the forum (Own up whoever you are1) for suggesting using lilac in the flesh tones, the photos dont do the effect credit at all. A few tweaks to go guys, have experimented with pastels for the first time believe it or not. Used them to draw for years and never thought to try them on kits. Any tips or pointers on the build so far please tell me, my skin is quite thick . I'm tempted to give her outfit a once over with the clear green. Yay or Nay? Theres mucho small details to add such as some redness inside her mouth, a little work on her eyes and hair. I've matted her down again so I can pastel some highlights on her boots and clothes before laquering them in satin varnish. Happy so far Keith

sweet mother of god, she looks brilliant mate !
i can't help look at all that green and pale flesh and think of the irish festival they are having over here at the moment, the red hair helps add too the feel as well.... a sort of celtic vampire, and inspiring choice of colours rather than the usual gothic black.
The face and eyes look stunning, i particularly love the highlights in the eyes, excellent work there!!!!

I think you are a very brave man using these colors and i think you pulled it off nicely. i think she looks like an irish vampire very cool. The entire paint job is skillfully done, the only thing i would change is the small flap near her thigh thats painted white i would go with the green just my opinion either way first rate.

Very nice! makes me wanna ask her to dinner at Obradys! Nicely done! responding to your comments a few posts ago....Ive been using Model Masters acrylic dullcoat or semi gloss.comes in a bottle, just mix a little Windex with ammonia and bingo, no clogging of your airbrush, goes on smoothly, no frosting, and dries within minutes. I use this on my tanks as well, and at crunch times Ive had to apply washes within 20 minutes and the seal held , no damage to the paint! oh, one point about the Liquitex, I tried using that stuff a while back, it would thin properly for me, it would have to be strained way to much before putting in the a/b. Let me know what kind of thinner you use or how it goes for you.

Just a note to let you know I havent given up on her. Mr F I use Tamiya thinners but will experiment with Windex as it is considerably cheaper. Ive gotta get a rug or somethingin my den! My old fingers are not as nimble as they used to be and thrree times I snapped her fingers off when I dropped her arms on the laminate floor. This is not so bad when your cleaning up a part but its a real F+@% when its painted and has several coats of green laquer on it

I like as she is painted, truely brilliant, only one thing......it is not seen well in the photo but, the jewel has shining varnish? I give to jewels and to the eyes shining varnish him. To the eyes it gives life them and to jewels that vitreous aspect. Anyway a wonderful work!
