this topic is basically for your Lara Croft, Red Sonja type of female figure, rather than the sort of sitting on a rug or lying on a bed pose, this is aimed to show of a figure in an action pose, like running and shooting at the same time that sort of thing.
as for action figures, are you talking about a GI Joe/Jane figure? the sort of thing that you used to dress in differnet uniforms?
hope this helps

now i remember..CY girls! by blueboxtoys..i went to the mall this afternoon and saw it again..got a closer look at it and it was really good..details and face. it's also 1/6 scale..i don't know if i can do some modification so it can hold the bike. it got extra hands for posing and some firepowers..i dont need them. one thing though..the scaling might not be accurate. do other modellers do some modifications on action figures or it's a no no? thanks all.

not really familiar with these figures, unless you want to goo the whole hog and start doing sculpting, removing various sections and replacing them with putty that's all i can really suggest......any other takers out there who want to pitch in?

Sundance, Modifying action figures (aka Dolls ;D) is easy and sometimes very inexpensive. I did this with a figure of the Scarecrow that I had found at a toy store here. After repositioning his arms and gluing them down, it was simply a matter of filling here and there with epoxy putty and repainting. Hope this helps you. "Q"

I once worked a couple of old Barbie dolls into a Centaur just to see if it could be done. Didn't care for the results. Stance was to narrow. Maybe to split the pelvis and putty in a piece might have worked but all in all I believe they weren't the best place to start.
