Inside the long narrow box, you get one resin female figure in 1/12th scale and a resin cast base for her too stand on. The figure is in a standing posture, with her hands on her hips. The clothing she has on is similar too a bikini, with a top that covers her breast and a lower section that covers her crotch. She is also wearing a pair of thigh length, fetish boots as well as well as a set of gloves that pass her elbows. The base has been nicely sculpted and consists of two well separated steps as well as some small scenery in the shape of two rats and a broken bone, there is also some moss that has been added too the steps to give them the appearance of being old
The kit has absolutely no air bubbles and since the figure is cast as a one-piece item, there are no fit issues to worry about kit. The only small problem I found was that there was a casting seam that was easily removable but is rather tricky to deal with under her left arm. The left arm is very close too the body and it can be a little awkward to get at so you have to proceed carefully. This is a standard that all kits should measure themselves against, Solarwinds have turned out some magnificent productions and this is one of their earlier Countess Karnsteins and yet it is almost flawless. I have several Countess Karnstein figures waiting to be built and they too are almost perfect, something I’ll look forward to building in the future.
The only issues i have are availability, these amazing kits are hard to come by here in the United Kingdom and I have had to resort to buying them from ebay. This isn’t always the best solution and so far my countess Karnstein figures have come from Australia and Hawaii. There maybe a stockist in the UK but so far I am unaware of them, there also might be an issue with Recasting, as we have seen in the past some companies simply refuse too deal with the UK market on account of the recasting issue but I do know that some people have had dealing with Solarwinds here on this site and have received an excellent service, so I think the issue here is availability.
