Well I've started building her, its taken me an hour & a half or so to do the basic clean up. Theres a few (6 in all) biggish air bubbles but only one thats any problem and no annoying pinholes. The resin is good, strong and nicely soft to carve, not brittle or awkward. Test fitting without a final clean up and check looks very good. Detail is excellent, posture looks spot on and I find the whole kit excellent in general. She's well packed in a sturdy box and all parts are bubble wrapped individually to stop damage. I just hope my painting skills are up to the mark to do her justice! 9.99 out of 10 for Solarwind Wish you could force dry Milliput ;D Keith Will post pix when I get the chance.

About half way through. no real problems with the kit that were not my own making! A few small pinholes came to light many or should I say most of which were caused by the happy modder himself here taking the top surface of the resin off!
Boots to legs joints caused some grief though, everything fitted together nicely before painting but when I assembled them after I couldn't get rid of the gap on one leg. Because I'd thingyed up painting her the first time I assembled the legs to the body before respraying now all is okeydokey. Yes Ive checked the arm joints!
Overall the kit has been a pleasure to build so far and as I said most the problems I've encountered have been caused by ME!
A seperate name plate would be the only thing I would wish to ghange on the kit as it kind of forces you to display her one way, other than that Excellent is all I can say! ;D Keith

Looking forward to the finished model. Sounds like my building, if it is a problem it's something I did. LOL. Oh well.

;D I've finished her at long last, I have to say that apart from a very few minor bubbles and very little cleanup the lasy went together very well with hardly any filler needed. This was my first Solarwinds kit and compared to most other resins I've touched (apart from Pegaso's) it was outstanding. the service and delivery was ace and I am extremely impressed all round. A number one kit! Now to bash the credit card for Vampirella

Sorry it took so og to get back to you gore, far to many distractions in life.
Skintone was using Citadel paints flesh tones, based with dwarf flesh then oversprayed with lighter elf flesh and hues of red etc where needed.
The pale effect I picked up from someone on the forum who (forgive me) I cant remember now and is actually a mix of white and lilac oversprayed on top of the skin tone sealed with citadels matt varnish.
In RL which doesnt quite cut it in the photo's she seems to have a faint irridescant glow.
