i have just returned fromt eh IPMS show in Perth Scotland and once again i have bought a kit that i know i am never going to build, why do i do this ? It's strange how i can instinctively open one kit when i get home and yet dump other kits on to my pile knowing full well that once they arrive there, they will never leave. The kit i bought was a Tamiya Deuce and a half army truck, i bought it second hand at orignal cost price as the previous owner had placed some extras into the kit, ( 2 resin verlinden us army figures and an AFV club artillery ammo accessories pack) even though i haven't really built a military kit in almost 2 years now. So did i impulsively buy it because it was cheap, or because it had once been on my wish list, or is it case of i didn't want anyone else to get the kit with all it's free goodies or am i really suffering from an addiction to buying kit? the big question here is, how many of you out there have done the same thing ?

I dont think your alone there.. I cant count how many old kits Ive bought just because it has extra goodies in it.. I know Ive passed many of them on in other deals, and occasionally actually built them! I currently have a 1/48 B-17G ... so far Ive purchased numerous aftermarket items for it.. and still going.. but, when the hell am I ever gonna build it? lol chances are, itll be one of those super packages you see on ebay ..or who knows, I may get a wild hair and build it.
