Well I succumbed, as some of you know. Very impressed with the service from John and would recommended him to anyone. Kit came well packed in a personalised box cast for me on the front (a nice touch). A beautiful cast of a beautiful woman in a wonderful pose, hope my airbrushing does her justice. Now is it Vampi Standard in deep red or Vampi Dark dressed in black Hmmmm? Apologies to John but I couldn't resist a little modding, the figure comes cast to the tombstone and I cut her off smoothing the tombstone surface when I did (personal taste, no criticism of the cast. the gaps between the various parts were quite good not as big as the pics make out, I just opened the edges chamfering them to get a smooth fill between. the thigh joints were a little mismatched in size but easy to rectify. I now have the first coat of primer on and am filling pinholes and minor blemishes. more pics as I advance. Oh and the hair needs a little fiddling with

Just to let you all know, I am still progressing albeit slowly with Vampi. I couldn't resist a little extra modding, cut off her hair for some obscure reason, wanting a more flowing look to it, I shortened her chin & carved out her cheeks a little, widened and upswept the outer edge of her eyes *all work that I didn't have to do and hope I'm forgiven.* As you see still lots to do

Lotta mod work. Are you going to make the top of her outfit drape properly off her breasts? In the real world I don't think they would curve under like that. BTW what scale is she? E...

as for the draping fabric it's a maybe, I am concentrating on her hair for now but you know how it is she was gonna be a quick fixup the few *very few blemishes and paint but weeks later and she is rather cut and chopped about . The hair is priority at the mo though once thats sorted, well who knows. Scale is 1/6th a nice size to work at. tks for commenting *wanders off to look closely at the fabrics contours now
